Introductions is a series of images created by the trace of cellular light in a dark room, using the artists personal archive of transaction from a same-sex 'dating' application. Each photograph was made from either the light cast by reading a repetitious line of introduction (grr, woof, etc.) or the direct imprint of an image sent to the artists phone on photographic paper.

Introductions is a set of translations, permutations, mutations and an endlessly unique photographic body of the queer body online. Touching, interfacing, romancing. Within the parameters of such interaction, each photographic image is recognizant of the individual, although anonymized, among the grid of similarly sexually inclined. Through flashings and mobile glow, each photograph renders a portrait of performed digital & physical intimacy.
